Hardware and software requirements for Db2 for z/OS

Before you can install or migrate Db2 12, you must fulfill the hardware and software requirements.

Before installing or migrating to Db2 12 for z/OS, ensure that your system meets the following requirements:

Hardware:	IBM® System z114 or IBM System z196 64-bit z/Architecture® or later
Operating system:	z/OS 2.1 or later
