Working with favorites

Add commonly used navigation items to your list of favorites.

About this task

You can add frequently used navigation items (tasks and dashboards) to your list of favorites.
Note: By design, some navigation items, for example, User icon > Log out, cannot be added to your list of favorites.

Procedure

  1. To add a navigation item to your list of favorites:
    1. Expand the navigation bar to display the item that you want to add and click and drag it to the Favorites icon (Favorites icon). When you drag the navigation item to the Favorites icon, the cursor changes to show a red box with a plus (+) symbol. When you hover over the Favorites icon, the cursor changes to display a green box.
      Note: If the item that you drag to the list is already there, then the cursor does not change to green, that is, you cannot add an item more than once.
    2. Release the mouse button to add the item to your favorites list.
  2. To remove a navigation item from your list of favorites:
    1. Click Favorites icon to display your list of favorites.
    2. Click and drag the item that you want to remove away from the list.
    3. Release the mouse button to remove the item from your favorites list.
