Administration Services UI

Administration Services provides a core set of services in the Jazz™ for Service Management for administering solutions and products. It has a common and consistent administrative UI interface that simplifies a wide range of administrative tasks.

The user interface provides dashboards to consolidate configuration data of managed resources from multiple administration service providers in common views and a pluggable container to manage the UI.

The list of resources that are managed by the administration service provider are displayed as managed systems in the Administration Services UI. The current configuration status of the management systems is retrieved by Administration Services and the application updates the status each time that the status changes.

The set of tasks that can be performed on the managed systems are also displayed in the Administration Services UI. The current configuration status of the tasks is retrieved by Administration Services and the application updates the status each time that the status changes.

You can hover over the name of the managed system or task for a preview of its details. They can select one or many tasks and run task actions.
