Changing the Content Platform Engine client version

You must redeploy IBM® FileNet® Collaboration Services when you update the Content Platform Engine server version. For example, you must redeploy the application after you install a Content Platform Engine fix pack because the Content Platform Engine client version that is used by IBM FileNet Collaboration Services must match the updated Content Platform Engine server version.

To redeploy IBM FileNet Collaboration Services with the updated version of the Content Platform Engine client:

  1. Reinstall the Content Platform Engine client. You must install the version of the client API that matches the updated version of the Content Platform Engine server.
  2. Run the IBM FileNet Collaboration Services configuration program to regenerate the .ear file and redeploy it to WebSphere® Application Server
