SAP ABAP sensor releases

This release fixes the array index out of exception for Fiori Metrics.

The Web clients and Web destinations table on the Transactional statistics tab in the SAP ABAP instance dashboard now displays the last 24 hour data.

The web client metrics are now available on the Transactional statistics tab in the SAP ABAP dashboard.

This release provides the following enhancements:

• Refactoring of the Instana UI to use raw payload data instead of metrics data.
• Addition of dump statistics and Spool Error counts on the Diagnostic tab in the SAP ABAP dashboard.

The sensor now generates built-in events when the On Hold count of a work process exceeds the defined threshold.

This release improves error logging and fixes null pointer issues with the Work Process.

This release includes the following enhancements:

• The table title now displays the customized interval duration.
• Support for SAP JCo 3.1.12 is now added.

This release implements a message server-based connection for ABAP instances.

On the SAP ABAP dashboard, the Jobs information table on the Workload tab now shows the last 24-hour data.

The User Information tab on the SAP instance dashboard now displays the number of logins for each SAP GUI version.

The sensor now updates the SAP ABAP instance dashboard as follows:

• Generates a built-in event when the average database latency exceeds 5 seconds.
• Updates ABAP dumps and spool errors to show content for the last 24 hours and this time window is now configurable.
• Displays the number of total and available work processes in the Work Process KPI tile. Previously, it showed only the total work processes.

The sensor now updates Work Process and Background Jobs metrics every 60 seconds.

An authorization check is added to check if the user has authorization to retrieve data from the function module TH_SERVER_LIST.

Previously, a NullPointerException error occurred when queries were run on empty tables. This issue is now fixed by adding checks to determine whether a table is empty. The query is run only if the table is not empty.

In Instana UI, you can now view the Database latency metrics on the Summary tab on the SAP ABAP Instance dashboard.

In Instana UI, you can now view the user logins in Platforms > SAP > Instances.

In Instana UI, you can now view the summary information for DB2 database in Platforms > SAP > Databases.

• Generates built-in event if background job is not completed within 6 hours.
• Added tabs in Instana UI to group metrics into various categories, such as RFC, workload, memory, user information, and diagnostics.
