Use the console to increase the
size of a particular data store that virtual machines are running on. This operation is useful if
you want to create a snapshot for a virtual machine on the data store and the snapshot will not fit
in a data store of the default size of 1.8 TB.
Before you begin
The size of a data store can be only increased. After you allocate more space on a data
store, you cannot reclaim that space until the cloud group that contains the data store is
deleted. Before you complete this task, try freeing up space in a data store by deleting existing
workloads.
