A IBM® WebSphere® Application Server Hypervisor Edition virtual image for VMware ESX hypervisor technologies is available for download from Passport Advantage.

Attention: Starting with Cloud Pak System Version 2.3.0.0, this image is no longer preinstalled on the system. It is available for download from Passport Advantage. If you download and import this image, be sure to apply the latest fix packs.

This virtual image contains the following preinstalled software:
  • RedHat Linux® 6.4 (64-bit) Enterprise server operating system
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (32-bit or 64-bit) Version 7.0.0.31
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server Hypervisor Edition Intelligent Management Pack Version 7.0.0.4 (requires a separate license to be enabled)
  • IBM HTTP Server for WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0.0.31
  • IBM HTTP Server Plug-ins for WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0.0.31
  • IBM Update Installer for WebSphere software 7.0.0.31
  • IBM Support Assistant Lite for WebSphere Application Server 1.3.3
  • IBM Installation Manager 1.6.3
  • IBM Virtual Solutions Activation Engine 2.1.1.35

  • On demand router
    Note: You must augment the on demand router when you enable Intelligent Management Pack. Include this part only in patterns where Intelligent Management Pack is enabled. If the part is included in a pattern where the product is not enabled, the deployment fails.
