Updating the proxy database configuration

Use this operation to update the port and credentials for accessing the proxy database.

Procedure

  1. Expand the Fundamental section of the DBPROXY_POLICY operations.
  2. Expand the Update proxy configuration node.
  3. In the Proxy database port field, specify the new port number for the proxy database.
  4. In the Proxy database user field, specify the new user name authorized to access the proxy database.
  5. In the Proxy database user password field, specify the password for the specified user name.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click Confirm when asked to validate your request.

Results

The configuration for the proxy database is updated. Be sure to also update the client application to use these new configuration settings to connect to the proxy database.
