Downloading the Code component
If you want to install and use the Code component of IBM® Wazi Developer 1.0.0, follow this topic to download the required installation packages from Passport Advantage® and Mainframe DEV.
Procedure for downloading installation packages from Passport Advantage
- Log on to Passport Advantage.
- Select Software Downloads and Media Access.
- Select Program offering and agreement number, and click Continue.
- Enter the part description or part number, and click Finder.
- Optionally, you can click the alphabetical order list to display and view the product by name.
- Select All Operating Systems in the Operating system field, and All Languages in the Languages field. Then, click Go.
- If you want to download the individual media from the list, click Select individual files to expand the list.
- Verify the e-assemblies that you want to download with the list that is mentioned below in the table.
Procedure for downloading installation packages from Mainframe DEV
- Log on to Mainframe DEV.
- Click More info of IBM Wazi Developer for Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces tab.
- Select the component that you need to download.
- Wazi Developer for VS Code
- Client: Click VScode, go through the software license agreement. Then, click I agree, and save the package.
- Server:
- If you use Extended ADCD provided by Sandbox, you do not need to download the server side components.
- If you use a regular LPAR, click Server. Then, follow the steps that are
described in Procedure for downloading installation packages from Passport Advantage to download the following packages:
- IBM Dependency Based Build Toolkit V1.0.9
- Rocket Git for z/OS® V1.0.9
- Z Open Automation Utilities V1.0.3
- Host components in Wazi_Host_SMPE-1.0.0.zip: IBM Debug for z/OS V14.2.3, IBM Explorer for z/OS V3.1.1.25, and RSE API V1.0
- Wazi Developer for Eclipse
- Client: Click Eclipse. You will be redirected to another page on Mainframe DEV that contains detailed download instructions.
- Server:
- If you use Extended ADCD provided by Sandbox, you do not need to download the server side components.
- If you use a regular LPAR, click Server. Then, follow the steps that are
described in Procedure for downloading installation packages from Passport Advantage to download the following packages:
- IBM Dependency Based Build Toolkit V1.0.9
- Rocket Git for z/OS V1.0.9
- Z Open Automation Utilities V1.0.3
- Host components in Wazi_Host_SMPE-1.0.0.zip: IBM Debug for z/OS V14.2.3, IBM Explorer for z/OS V3.1.1.25, and IBM z/OS Explorer Extensions V14.2.3
- To download the packages of Sandbox component, follow the steps that are described in Procedure for downloading installation packages from Passport Advantage.
