Progress Monitor
The Progress Monitor manages all remote actions and builds; it does not handle local actions.
Each time that you run a remote action, such as a remote compile
or remote assemble, the status of the action is displayed in the Progress view.
Tip: You can run multiple remote actions at the same time and
view the status of each of these actions in the Progress view. You
cannot run the same action on the same file concurrently; to avoid
a conflict with the resource, the first action runs and the second
action waits until the first action completes. You can view the wait
status of the second action in the Progress view.
You can cancel a long running action in the Progress view. To cancel an action, select the action, and then click Cancel.
You can view which actions are running and which actions are complete in the Progress view. Links are provided for each action to offer information about whether the action completed successfully.
If errors are associated with an action, the Remote Error List view opens and is automatically filtered to display these errors.
