Outbound IP addresses

IBM® webMethods Hybrid Integration supports connectivity with various third-party services. In certain scenarios, you need to connect to internal servers from specific IP addresses and access firewall-protected resources. To enable this connectivity, allow the appropriate static IP addresses in your firewall settings based on your infrastructure provider and the region in which your services are hosted.

Main IP addresses for webMethods Hybrid Integration

The following table shows the Network Address Translation (NAT) IP addresses for the following capabilities in IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration:
  • App Connect
  • End-to-end monitoring
  • Event Endpoint Management
  • webMethods API Gateway
  • webMethods B2B Integration
  • webMethods Developer Portal
  • webMethods Integration
  • webMethods Managed File Transfer

Important: Control plane NAT IP addresses handle management, configuration, and monitoring operations. Data plane IP addresses handle actual data processing. To enable connectivity with third-party services, allow both a control plane NAT IP address, and the data plane NAT IP address that relates to your subscription tier (trial or standard).
