Advanced reporting

The Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool (BIRT) extension to Engineering Method Composer provides a mechanism for advanced customization of reports.

Pre-configured report templates are included that can be used without modifications, or they can be further customized to meet the needs of individual organizations. Customization at this level requires using the Report Design perspective. Sample projects can be imported.

BIRT can be used to perform additional report customization and layout. Advanced Data Set queries and filtering can be defined using model structure information available through ECOR information from the EMF project and OCL filter definitions through the EMFT project.
