Java Client applications

A Java™ Client library is provided for Java developers. It consists of a JAR file that contains a package of Java classes for communicating with the system.

To use the Java Client library you must install the client software development kit (SDK). The SDK includes the following components for Java application developers:

• The Java Client JAR file.
• Other Java JAR files that are needed to run the Java Client.
• Sample applications that use the Java Client library to access the system. The readme files for the sample applications provide instructions on how to compile and run the sample code.
• Online help for the Java Client package (Javadoc).
