You can use the Management Console to
start and stop individual knowledge bases or all knowledge bases simultaneously.
About this task
Your ability to start and stop a knowledge base depends
on the current status of the knowledge base:
- Started
- In this status, actions for starting the knowledge base are disabled.
You can select actions to stop or restart the knowledge base.
- Stopped
- In this status, actions for stopping the knowledge base are disabled.
You can select actions to start or restart the knowledge base.
Procedure
- Start, stop, or restart an individual knowledge base:
- In the console tree, click Knowledge bases.
- In the list view on the right, right-click the knowledge
base that you want to administer and select the option to start, stop,
or restart the knowledge base.
- Start, stop, or restart all knowledge bases:
- In the console tree, right-click Knowledge
bases.
- Select the option to start, stop, or restart all knowledge
bases.
