Logging in to the console

Steps to help you log in to the Dashboard Application Services Hub.

Access the console:

Procedure

Access the reporting interface from Dashboard Application Services Hub as follows:
  1. Open a web browser and enter the following URL for the Jazz® for Service Management UI and reporting server:

    https://host.domain:port/DASH_context_root

    For example: https://myJazzSMserver.ibm.com:16311/ibm/console

  2. On the Dashboard Application Services Hub login page, enter the user ID and password. Click Log in.
    Attention: After authentication, the web container used by the Jazz for Service Management application server redirects to the last URL requested. This is usually https://<host>:<port>/ibm/console, but if you manually change the page URL, after being initially directed to the login page, or if you make a separate request to the server in a discrete browser window before logging in, you may be redirected unexpectedly.
    Note: If you have more than one instance of the Jazz for Service Management application server installed on your computer, you should not run more than one instance in a browser session, that is, do not log in to different instances on separate browser tabs.

Results

After your user credentials have been verified, the Welcome page is displayed. If you entered the localhost or port number incorrectly, the URL will not resolve. View the application server profile to check the settings for localhost, port, and user ID.
