Description

The OUTPUT_SORT_BUFFER controls how much memory is allowed to be used for sorting records before overflowing to disk. This value is specified by the number of bytes and the default is 262144000 (250 megabytes). Setting the buffer to a higher value might improve performance for packs that generate very large output files at the expense of additional memory consumption.
