About this task

To obtain the 1.4.4 Fix Pack1 fixes and enhancements, you must perform the following tasks:

Procedure

  1. Download the distribution files to your local host:
    1. Download the 1.4.4 Fix Pack1 distribution.
    2. Download the Oracle distribution.
  2. Upgrade Oracle 12c to 18c.
    1. Oracle pre-upgrade procedure.
    2. Install Oracle 18c Server (64-bit).
    3. Upgrade Oracle 12c to Oracle 18c.
    4. Oracle post upgrade procedure.
  3. Install Oracle 18c Client (32-bit).
  4. Install Oracle 18c Client (64-bit).
  5. Upgrade Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager 1.4.4 to 1.4.4 Fix Pack1.
    1. Post Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager upgrade procedure.
  6. Enable Near Real Time (NRT) data enhancement.

    With 1.4.4 Fix Pack1, NRT polling is enhanced to load 15 minutes of data into the database.
