GYMDL30122W msg

Explanation

An explicit error PDU has been returned by the SNMP agent, in place of the expected answer PDU.

System action

The collector will correct it's configuration accordingly, and when possible reissue a valid PDU to the device. In that case there will be no data loss.

Programmer response

If message 'usmStatsNotInTimeWindows' is repeated abundantly in the log, this could be a sign that several devices share the same SNMP V3 engine ID. This can be investigated with the tool `dialogTest2 SNMPV3CacheDump all`. Conflicting engine ID is an invalid situation, and represent a performance problem for the collector.

Possible values are: Host '(host)', ERROR: usmStatsNotInTimeWindows, adjusting values using device's parameters. Host '(host)', ERROR: returned REPORT PDU with (something) Host '(host)', ERROR: returned empty REPORT PDU"; Host '(host)', ERROR : PDU too big, can't reduce size anymore (already (size)) Host '(host)', ERROR : PDU too big, splitting by half -> (newsize)
