Performance Diagnostic View

The Performance Diagnostic View provides you with a workspace where you can display a number of time series charts, each showing the performance of a resource in your network. The values in the Performance Diagnostic View charts are supported up to three decimal places.

The toolbar contains shortcut buttons for routine actions.

Important: The save and open workspace features do not function on Mozilla Firefox 3.6.
Save workspace button Save workspace
Saves your current workspace to your local file system.
Open workspace button Open workspace
Opens the saved workspace.
Add Chart button Add Chart
Opens the Add Time Series Chart wizard so you can add a time series chart that displays metrics, statistics, and thresholds for a single resource.

Refresh button Refresh
Refreshes all of the charts in the view.

Modify Time button Modify Time

Changes the time that is shown for all charts on the view.

If you want to change the period, you can click the down arrow on the Modify Time button and select from the period options available. In the period list, you can select from a number of preset periods or select the Present option.

To modify other settings, click the Modify Time button to open the Modify Time window.

Cascade Charts button Cascade Charts or Tile Charts button Tile Charts
Arranges charts on the view.
