Sum of Average Reports
A Sum of Average (sumOfAvg) report is an extension of the Group Time Series report. It calculates two data points for each granularity period.
A Sum of Average report:
- Performs a spatial aggregation on a group of resources, calculating the average of all data points collected during the granularity period.
- Finds the sum of aggregated averages by adding the current aggregated average to the previous aggregated average. In the first sumOfAvg aggregation in the sequence, the current aggregated average is the same as the sum.

Note: A sumOfAvg report does not support Near
Real Time data points. In other words, sumOfAvg includes
data from the DataView database
only. It does not include data collected since the last time data
was saved.
