Installing Tivoli Monitoring components

Install Tivoli Monitoring components that are needed for the integration.

About this task

Follow these steps to install the monitoring components on a Linux or UNIX computer.

Procedure

In the directory where you extracted the installation files, run the following command:
```
./install.sh
```
When prompted for the IBM Tivoli Monitoring home directory, press Enter to accept the default directory,/opt/IBM/ITM.
Follow the prompts and install the product.
See the Log of clean Tivoli Monitoring Installation section for appropriate options to select for the installation.

Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server
Tivoli Enterprise Portal Desktop Client
