Stopping the Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager framework

Run the required CLI commands to stop and to monitor the process state of the Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager framework.

About this task

Note: In a distributed installation, this procedure must be performed for the application server only.

Procedure

  1. Run the following command as user virtuo: 
    sap stop -f
  2. To monitor the process state, run the command as user root:
    • svcs sap-na
    • service sapvirtuo status
    • /etc/rc.d/init.d/sapvirtuo status
