Logging in to Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager DataView

Log in to Tivoli® Netcool® Performance Manager DataView by using a supported web browser.

Before you begin

Access to Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager is through the Dashboard Application Services Hub. Before you log in to Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager, enable cookies and allow pop-up windows in your browser. Use the following default port numbers to log in to Dashboard Application Services Hub:
http://<host_name>:16310/ibm/console
Use the HTTP port for logging in to the Dashboard Application Services Hub on the HTTP port.
https://<host_name>:16311/ibm/console
Use the HTTPS secure port for logging in to the Dashboard Application Services Hub.
Note: If you want to use single sign-on (SSO), then, you must use the fully qualified domain name of the Dashboard Application Services Hub host.

Procedure

  1. Get the server URL from your administrator.
  2. Open a browser and enter http://<host_name>:<port-number>/ibm/console
  3. Enter your user name and password.

Example

To connect to Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager over a secure connection, where the DataView component is installed on server.ibm.com, enter this URL in your browser: https://server.ibm.com:16311/ibm/console.
