Configuring accounts and passwords

Use the Accounts and Passwords page for the Network IPS appliance to configure accounts, users, and passwords to access the appliance.

About this task

Use the Accounts and Passwords page to configure users, password criteria, and notifications about regular and failed login attempts.

Note: There is no longer a Web Administration password for local authentication. If you had three passwords in the past, the IPS Setup Administration password takes the place of the Web Administration password.
