Implementing recommendations for a single query

After you obtain recommendations from one or more of the expert advisors, you can implement the recommendations either directly from your workstation, or by making manual changes to your DB2® for z/OS® subsystem.

• Collecting recommended statistics to improve query performance
  After you obtain recommendations from the Statistics Advisor, you can implement them either from this tool or manually on your DB2 for z/OS subsystem.
• Rewriting a query according to recommendations
  After you obtain recommendations from the query advisor, you can rewrite the query in the appropriate source.
• Resolving access path problems according to advisor warnings
  After you obtain access path warnings from the Access Path Advisor, you can take steps to improve the access path problems.
• Creating recommended indexes to improve query performance
  After you obtain index recommendations from the Index Advisor, you can implement them from this tool or manually on your DB2 for z/OS subsystem.
