SCA Modules collection
Use this page to view installed Service Component Architecture (SCA) modules, their associated applications, and any process application context. SCA modules encapsulate Advanced Integration services, so you can make changes to services without affecting users of the service. To use the SCA module services, start the associated application.
To view this administrative console page, click Applications > SCA Modules.
To act on one or more of the listed items, select the check boxes next to the names of the items that you want to act on, then use the buttons provided. The check boxes are for the application associated with each SCA module. To start an SCA module, you start the associated application.
To browse or change the properties of a listed item, select its name in the list.
To change what entries are listed, or to change what information is shown for entries in the list, use the Filter settings.
General properties
The SCA Modules collection page displays the following general properties for SCA modules:- Module
- Specifies the short name of the module followed by a cell identifier. The optional cell identifier uniquely identifies the SCA module in the cell. If the SCA module is versioned, the version field shows the corresponding version information.
- Snapshot or version
- If the SCA module is part of a process application, this column specifies the snapshot that contains the module (for example, 6.0-BillingDispute Snapshot (6.0BDS)).
Otherwise, it specifies the version number of the SCA module (for example, 1.0.2). If the module is not versioned, this column is empty.
- Process application
- Specifies the process application or toolkit that contains the module and includes both the display name and the acronym (for example, BillingDispute (BILLDISP)). If this module is associated to a process application, use the Process Admin Console to manage its state.
- Application
- Specifies the name of the enterprise application.
- Status
- Specifies the current execution state of the application.
State Description Started Application is running. Partial Start Application is in the process of changing from a Stopped state to a Started state. Application is starting to run, but is not yet fully running. Stopped Application is not running. Partial Stop Application is in the process of changing from a Started state to a Stopped state. Application has not stopped running yet. Unavailable Status cannot be determined. An application with an unavailable status might be running, but have an unavailable status because the server running the administrative console cannot communicate with the server running the application. Not applicable Application does not provide information about whether or not it is running.
Buttons
The SCA Modules collection page has the following buttons:- Start
- Click this button to start the application for the selected SCA module. This makes the Advanced Integration services of the module available to requesters.
- Stop
- Click this button to stop the application for the selected SCA module. This makes the Advanced Integration services of the module unavailable to requesters.
- Install
- To deploy an SCA module, click this button.
- Uninstall
- To undeploy an SCA module, click this button.
