To use IBM® Business
Process Manager on Cloud, you
must first activate your user access.
Before you begin
Check that you received an email invitation from
noreply@bpm.ibmcloud.com,
which contains a link and instructions to log in.
About this task
Your email address and the password you create when you activate
your access are always your login credentials.
Procedure
To activate your IBM BPM
on Cloud user
account, complete the following steps:
- Click the link to IBM BPM
on Cloud that
you received in the email invitation to create your account. Because
the activation web page opens in your default browser, make sure that
you are using a supported web browser. See IBM Business
Process Manager Advanced detailed system requirements for information
about the supported web browsers.
- Provide the information to activate your access.
- Your user ID is always your email address.
- Enter your given name and surname.
- If you do not already have a password, you are prompted
to enter a new password for your Process Transformation on Cloud account.
Important: You are prompted to change your password
every 90 days. If you reset your password, the temporary password
expires after an hour.
- Click Activate.
- If you have access to more than one instance of IBM BPM
on Cloud or IBM Operational Decision
Manager,
you will see a list of your subscriptions. Select the IBM BPM
on Cloud instance
that you want to work in.
- Your IBM BPM
on Cloud main
subscription landing page displays the following information.
- You can see the roles and authorizations that are assigned to
you.
- On the Work tab, you can access the environments
to which you are assigned access. By default, you see the Process
Runtime Operating Environment.
- If you are assigned to the Account Admin role
or the Operator role, or both, you also see
the Admin tab.
- Optional: To manage IBM BPM
on Cloud roles
and IBM BPM groups
for subscription members, click the Admin tab.
Results
The main page shows only the environments that you are authorized
to access. From the
Work tab, the deployment
environment, or environments, that you see depend on the access that
your user account was assigned by the account administrator of your
IBM BPM
on Cloud instance.
You might be assigned access to one or more of the following environments:
- Development environment
- Test environment
- Process runtime operating environment
To access an environment that you do not have access to, ask
your account administrator to provide the additional access.
