Installing the product to run in 64-bit or 32-bit mode on a 64-bit operating system
If you are installing the product on a computer with a
64-bit operating system, then you can choose to install the product
as either a 64-bit or 32-bit application.
During the product installation, you select either 64-bit or 32-bit mode for the product on the Location page in IBM® Installation Manager. (This is the page where you select the installation directory.)
Note: Please note that a 32-bit installation is not supported in a
Unix Environment (Linux/SUSE/OS X).
If you install the product in 64-bit mode, some product features might not be available.
