Enabling branches

A branch is an optional subdivision in a process applications based on team tasks or process application versions. If additional branches are necessary for a process application, you can enable them at any time.

The term track changed to branch in the IBM® Workflow Center 19.0.0.3 user interface. The term track remains in IBM Process Center.

About this task

You must be in the Advanced mode under Preferences to see the Let users create branches option in Workflow Center.

Procedure

To enable tracks in the classic Workflow Center, formerly known as Process Center, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Process apps or Toolkits tab.
  2. Select the project you want to enable tracks for.
  3. Click Manage.
  4. Select Allow users to create tracks in this process app or Allow users to create tracks in this toolkit.

What to do next

Administrators can now create additional branches in the selected project.
