Managing snapshots

Snapshots record the state of items within a workflow project at a specific point in time. You can create snapshots in Workflow Center or in IBM® Process Designer. Snapshot management, such as installing, exporting, and archiving, is performed in Workflow Center.
Note: Snapshots are called versions in IBM Business Automation Studio
Note: Snapshot acronyms don't need to be unique. However, you cannot install a snapshot in a runtime environment if a snapshot with the same name is already installed. This restriction is also true for snapshots in different branches.
