Views in the Dashboards toolkit
The Dashboards toolkit contains the views and services that are used by coaches or pages
in a human service, for example, an instance UI, a dashboard, such as the Process Performance
dashboard, or a task completion UI. You can use the views and services to create your own customized
views.
Attention: The ready-to-use views and services that are included in the toolkit can
change from release to release. The following general considerations apply to using the artifacts in
the toolkit:
- To customize a view, always clone both the view and its corresponding service, and make your changes on the copies of the artifacts.
- If you create Process Portal dashboards by
using the views and services in the toolkit, the behavior or visualization of the page might change
if you upgrade to a newer version of the toolkit. If you want to retain the existing behavior of the
Process Portal application, take one of the
following actions:
- Copy the views and services that you need to the new version of the application.
- Do not upgrade to the newer version of the toolkit.
