Developing case management applications with the REST protocols
You can use the REST protocols to incorporate IBM® Business Automation Workflow features in your custom application. You use the IBM Business Automation Workflow REST protocol to access case-specific objects. You use the Content Platform Engine REST Service to access workflow-related aspects of tasks.
The REST protocols are provided for compatibility with previous releases of IBM Business Automation Workflow. If you are developing a new custom case management application, use the JavaScript APIs that are provided with IBM Business Automation Workflow and IBM Content Navigator.
