Getting started for administrators

As an application administrator, complete the initial configuration tasks to prepare Maximo® Health for use, including setting up work queues, configuring maps, and managing user access.

Before you begin

As an application administrator and member of the MAXADMIN security group, you can access administrative applications from the Start Center. From the navigation menu, select Application administration to open the Start Center, which contains applications for completing administrative tasks such as adding users to security groups.

Getting started steps

Complete the following steps to get started with Maximo Health and Maximo Predict administration:

  1. Log in and explore the user interface
  2. Determine when assets are eligible for work queues
  3. Enable the work queue cron task
  4. Configure map URL, settings, and scale
  5. Configure users and security groups
