Unavailable on-premises features

The cloud portal does not include all the features in the on-premises version of Operational Decision Manager.

The cloud portal is a software as a service (SaaS) offering. It is configured, customized, and maintained by IBM® so that you can focus on making and using decision services. As a result, you do not need all the Operational Decision Manager features.

Note: The cloud portal is upgraded regularly to keep it in sync with the latest version of the on-premises Operational Decision Manager. The addition and removal of features in Operational Decision Manager can be reflected in the portal.

The following list shows some of the on-premises Operational Decision Manager features that do not come in the cloud version:

The libraries for the on-premises Rule Designer are not available in the cloud version of Rule Designer.
Customization of Decision Center and Decision Server
Ant scripts and tasks
Decision Warehouse
Sample server and samples console
COBOL and PL/I support
Access to the server operating system
Access to the application server console
Repackaging or customization of enterprise archive files (EARs)
Rule model extension
Custom value editor
Custom data provider for dynamic domains
Custom data provider for testing and simulation
