Outbound UNG Envelope

The Outbound Envelope allows you to determine outbound parameters for the UNG (EDIFACT) option. The Outbound UNG Envelope dialog box is displayed.

Note: EDIFACT version 4 defines the infrastructure necessary to support the creation (and processing) of interchanges that have been encoded using a character set other than 8-bit ASCII. Microsoft Windows supports the processing of an encoded interchange as long as the encoding matches the default code page of the operating system where it is running.

The following describes the parts of the Outbound UNG Envelope.

Part Description

Note: The minimum length is 1 and the maximum length is 35.
Qualifier (UNG02) Enter the Qualifier Code associated with your Sender ID (if applicable). This value will appear on the UNA segment.
