See About Creating Map Objects for more information on the Create Sub and Insert functions.

The system displays the ODBC Output Record Properties dialog box

  2. On the Name tab, enter a unique output record name and description (if applicable).
  3. Select the SQL Operation tab to access the output options.
  4. Select the appropriate data source.
  5. Select the table you want to modify.
  6. Select the appropriate table operation.
  7. If necessary, select the option to automatically switch the specified operation (for example, insert to update or update to insert) and retry the operation again.
  8. Select the Key Field tab and select the appropriate options to define the key field.
  9. Select the Looping tab.
  10. In the Maximum usage box, enter the number of times the record can repeat (loop).

See the IBM® Sterling Gentran:Server® for Microsoft Windows Application Integration User Guide for more information on extended rules.

  12. Click OK.

The system saves the output record and closes the ODBC Output Record Properties dialog box.
