After you successfully install to a new version and you
are comfortable with the functioning of the new updates, you can choose
to phase out the older version.
About this task
Perform the following steps to phase out an old version:
Procedure
- Navigate to the INSTALL_DIR>/bin directory.
Here, INSTALL_DIR refers to the installation
directory of the new version.
- Invoke the following script
{runtime}/bin/ fullRollOutDataMigration.cmd/sh..
Note: The script is executed from the base version. For example, if you deploy two versions 9.5 and
10.0, and set 9.5 as the base version and 10.0 in staged mode, when the 9.5 version is ready to be
removed, execute the script from 10.0 runtime. The script updates the SI_VERSION table, and makes it
the base version in the entire deployment to 10.0.
