In-store order invoicing

For point-of-sale orders, Sterling™ Order Management System Software provides the in-store order invoice, which includes an order header but no line details. In-store order invoices are useful in high-transaction environments, such as point-of-sale, where other types of invoices can be "heavy" with large numbers of order lines.

In-store invoices, or "light" invoices, take up less space in the database than "heavy" invoices, which require additional storage space and data processing for the order lines.
