Manager overrides

You can configure rules to allow a pricing override with Manager's approval.

Creating an approval rule
You can create two types of approval rules: Header and Line.
Create a header approval rule
You, as an enterprise user, can create an approval rule to be applied at the quote header level.
Create a line approval rule
You, as an enterprise user, can create an approval rule that can be applied at a line level in a quote.
Searching and viewing an approval rule in Sterling Business Center
You, as an enterprise user, can search for an approval rule belonging to your enterprise and view its details.
Modify approval rule details
You, as an enterprise user, can modify the details pertaining to an approval rule belonging to an enterprise.
Copy an approval rule
You, as an enterprise user, can create a new approval rule from an existing approval rule by copying it.
Modify the status of an approval rule
An approval rule can be in either Active status or Inactive status. An approval rule can have an effect on a quote only if it is in Active status.
Modify the conditions in a header approval rule
You, as an enterprise user, can modify the conditions under which an approval rule based on the quote header level will become applicable.
Modify the conditions in a line approval rule
You, as an enterprise user, can modify the conditions under which an approval rule will become applicable.
Delete an approval rule
As an enterprise user, you can delete an approval rule. The Delete button is enabled only if the status of an approval rule is Inactive.
