Prerequisites

Order Hub uses the data from IBM® Sterling™ Order Management System Software to provide a detailed view of nodes and orders. You might also be using other business user tools and e-commerce features that IBM Sterling Order Management System Software provides for faster and easier store and site management and fulfillment.

Before you start using Order Hub to manage your fulfillment network, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
  • Order Hub is enabled.
  • If you are using IBM Sterling Store Engagement, it is mandatory that you define an order entry type called Store. For more information about configuring order entry types, see the Implementation Implementation topic in the IBM Sterling Store Engagement Knowledge Center.
  • If your OMS supports orders or order lines as preorders or VIP orders, you must create the following extended Boolean entity attributes. For more information about creating extended attributes, see Create an extended boolean entity attribute.
    • Attribute for preorders - BUC_IsPreOrder
    • Attribute for VIP orders - BUC_IsVIPOrder
