Uninstalling IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer server

Perform this task to uninstall the IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer server from a host.

Before you begin

  • You must be root or have root privilege.
  • You must have the root database password.

About this task

This removes all previously installed IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Server services, reports, and programs from the server host as well as the Elasticsearch installation and its data if you choose (if Elasticsearch was locally installed on the host by the IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Server installer).

Procedure

  1. Log in to the IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Server with the same account used to install it.
  2. Navigate to the extracted IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Server installation package directory and run the command ExplorerServerUninstall.sh to uninstall IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Server.

    For example:

    cd explorer10.2_server_linux-x64
    ./ExplorerServerUninstall.sh

Perform this task to uninstall the IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Data Collector.

Before you begin

  • You must be root or have root privilege.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Data Collector host with the same account used to install it.
  2. Navigate to the extracted IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Data Collector installation package directory and run the command ExplorerNodeUninstall.sh to uninstall the IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer Data Collector.
