Save packages as drafts

If you are not ready to send your packages right away, you can save them as drafts.

  1. In the Packages app, click Send files, in the Files app, right-click the file or folder to send, then select Send.
  2. If you want to prepare the files you want to send, follow the instructions in the Quick start: Send files and folders section.
Note: You don’t need to fill out the required fields to be able to save a draft.
  3. Click Cancel.
  4. You will be prompted to select between two options:
    • Save as draft and send later (transfer begins now but package won't be sent): Saves the package draft with its contents and triggers a transfer. The package is not sent to the recipient.
    • Discard attached files and save package details only: Saves the package draft metadata only. Contents of the package are discarded.
  5. Click Save.

To access your saved drafts, go to the Drafts/Scheduled page from the left menu.

Important: You can encrypt your transfers when saving a draft for the first time, but not for transfers added to a draft package later.
