Save packages as drafts
If you are not ready to send your packages right away, you can save them as drafts.
- In the Packages app, click Send files, in the Files app, right-click the file or folder to send, then select Send.
- If you want to prepare the files you want to send, follow the instructions in the Quick start: Send files and folders
section.Note: You don’t need to fill out the required fields to be able to save a draft.
- Click Cancel.
- You will be prompted to select between two options:
- Save as draft and send later (transfer begins now but package won't be sent): Saves the package draft with its contents and triggers a transfer. The package is not sent to the recipient.
- Discard attached files and save package details only: Saves the package draft metadata only. Contents of the package are discarded.
- Click Save.
To access your saved drafts, go to the Drafts/Scheduled page from the left menu.
Important: You can encrypt your transfers when saving a draft for the first time, but
not for transfers added to a draft package later.
