Administering with the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager
If you created a MongoDB Enterprise Advanced database deployment in your IBM® Cloud Pak for Data cluster, you can access the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager to complete common tasks such as managing the users that have access to the database or configuring your MongoDB Enterprise Advanced nodes.
Accessing the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager
When you create the database deployment, a default MongoDB Enterprise Advanced user is created. You can use this user name and password to access the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager.
- From the Cloud Pak for Data navigation menu, select .
- Open the Databases tab.
- Open the actions menu for the database that you want to connect to and select
Details.
The credentials are in the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager section of the Database details page. The default user is named admin.
- Use the route that was created during database deployment to open Ops Manager.
- On the Database details page, use the First Ops Manager user credentials to log in.
Working with the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager
For more information about Ops Manager, see the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced documentation.
By default, only the user who created the database deployment can access MongoDB Enterprise Advanced Ops Manager. To give other users access to the database, see Ops Manager Users and Teams in the MongoDB Enterprise Advanced documentation. Unless Cloud Pak for Data and MongoDB Enterprise Advanced use the same LDAP server, the user names for the database are not tied to their Cloud Pak for Data user name.
