Integration protocol

Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation provides APIs to integrate with ERP applications, and transfer data from an ERP system to the Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation. These APIs can be invoked from the Service Definition Framework.

Data exchange from an ERP application to the Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation can be carried out using the Service Definition Framework in two modes:

  • Asynchronous Mode (DB, JMS, MSMQ)
  • Synchronous Mode (HTTP, EJB, LOCAL)

The Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation APIs raise Events, which can be configured to transfer data from the Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation to an ERP application.
