Unable to generate WSDL classes

Problem description

If you have added a large number of extensions to an object and you have exceeded the maximum number of parameters allowed by Java™ for a method, which is 255 fields, you will not be able to compile the Java files generated from the WSDL file.

Probable solution

To resolve this issue, you can reduce the number of attributes for the object in the WSDL file to only those attributes that are required for the integration of Sterling™ Field Sales with Salesforce.com.

Note: When reducing the number of attributes, you must not remove the following required fields:
  • All fields that are provided out-of-the-box by Salesforce.com.
  • All fields that are provided out-of-the-box by IBM®.
  • Any fields used to extend the Sterling Field Sales for Salesforce.com integration.
