You can create a new, empty diagram in a topology or you
can create a new diagram that is populated with views of one or more
existing units.
About this task
You can create a new diagram in a topology using any of the
following methods:
- To create an empty diagram, right-click the topology itself in
the Project Explorer view, not any diagram or
unit within it, click , and then type a name for the new
diagram.
- To create a new diagram that displays one or more units, select
the units, right-click one of them, and then click .
- To create a new diagram with units from the Project
Explorer view, select those units, right-click one of the
units, and then click .
Each of these methods creates a new diagram in the same topology.
To move or copy a unit to a diagram in a different topology, right-click
the unit and then click
Move.
You can remove
a diagram by right-clicking it in the Project Explorer view
and then clicking Delete.
