Searching for groups using the custom find function

You can search for a specific group.

Procedure

  1. Select the Custom Find option by completing any of these steps:
    • From the Action menu click Find.
    • Click the Find icon.
    • On the console tree, right-click Group and click Find.
  2. In the window, select Custom Find, and then click Customize.
  3. Click Field, point to Groups, and then select any of the options from the list.
  4. In the Condition box, select the search criteria.
    Option Description
    Starts With The name starting with a specific alphabetical letter.
    Ends With The name ending with a specific alphabetical letter.
    Is (Exactly) The exact name of the user. If you know the exact role name, then select this option. For example, type the group name as prod mgmt in the Value box.
    Is Not Present Enter the name which does not consist of a specific alphabetical letter. For example, type P in the Value box. The group name having the letter P are ignored.
  5. In the Value box, enter a search value and click Add or press Enter.
  6. Select the search criteria from the Condition List box, and then click Find.

Results

The list of groups that meet the search criteria is displayed in the Find Results box.
