Preparing the development environment

To prepare the development environment, you must build and populate the infrastructure. As a core technology in Device Management Enablement, you start by working with the model manager component, and customizing the semantic model so that it represents your device network.

When the above tasks are completed, you can begin the process of configuring the metadata and model.
