Configuring service access
As an administrator, configure service access permissions for user groups in a Device Management Enablement solution.
Procedure
- Click Solution Administration > Configuration Tools > Application Configuration.
- Select your solution application from the Select a solution application to configure list.
- Click the Services tab. The service accesses for user groups are displayed in a table. You can view the service
location URLs, the user groups with access to them, and the type of access that they have.
- Configure service access for a new user group
- Click Add.
- In the Create Access Control window, enter the service access properties, and select the type of access that is needed for the group. The types of access available are GET (read access), PUT (write access), POST (insertion permission), and DELETE.
- Click OK.
- Configure service access for an existing user group
- In the table row for the service or group that you want to configure, click Edit.
- In the Edit Access Control pane, you can update the service access URL, the user group name, and the access type for the group. The types of access available are GET (read access), PUT (write access), POST (insertion permission), and DELETE.
- Click OK.
- Remove service access for a user group
- In the table row for the service or group that you want to configure, click Remove.
- Configure service access for a new user group
- Click Save.
