Creating supporting applications

Create supporting applications for your solution application.

About this task

As an administrator who is a member of the SystemAdmins group, you can create new supporting applications. For every new supporting application that you create, you can use the root level extensions and child extensions from any existing supporting application. In this task, you create the supporting application that you can then extend as necessary.

Procedure

  1. Log on as a member of the SystemAdmins group. For example, log on as sysadmin.
  2. Click Solution Administration > Configuration Tools > Application.
  3. Click Create.
  4. In the Create Supporting Application window, enter the details for the new supporting application:
    1. In the Id field, enter a unique identifier for the supporting application.
    2. In the Name field, enter a name for the supporting application.
    3. Optional: In the Description field, enter a description of the supporting application.
    4. Click Save.
